The product and packaging design for the Michel BRAS brand is handled by Tokyo-based Igarashi Design Studio. Hisae Igarashi, one of Japan's leading designers, is a professor at Musashino Art University, a member of the jury for the Good Design Award, and leads the studio handling furniture, tools, decorative objects and interior design.

“In our collaboration with Michel & Sébastien Bras, we first focused on understanding their cooking philosophy, and from there we delved deeper into their expectations and commitment to their tools. They taught us that cooking has the potential to be more than just cooking. Our reply to that realization is what is shaping our collaboration. This is a particularly important project for us".
