There are two other parts besides the blades to cut food.

Next, a nutcracker located between the handles catches bones and carapace firmly to break them down.

the scissors arrived in perfect timing, in the midst of lunar new year feasting. I used it to cut a roasted suckling pig with ease, not requiring a cutting board and not having to crush the precious crackling. The knife feels hefty with a good bite, its smooth operation allows fo efficient and quick cutting, the cleaning is easy bec. both blades comes apart. Highly recommended!
